The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tender preparation, cross-sector experience, and a valid Security Clearance. Qualifications

  • Experience leading and/or supporting strategic procurement projects.
  • Strong background in tender preparation and development of key documents.
  • Experience in supplier engagement activities, from market engagement to contract award.
  • Cross-sector experience with public utilities or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with standard form contracts including NEC and JCT.
  • Valid (or reinstatable) Security Clearance (SC).
  • Preferable degree in construction, civil engineering, quantity surveying, law or procurement.
  • Preferable experience in defence, utilities, or infrastructure sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist procurement strategy advice to public and private sector clients.
  • Manage and collaborate with a team on end‑to‑end procurement services for major projects.
  • Support the development of procurement services at the company.
  • Assist business development and marketing of Contract Services.
  • Contribute to team and wider business targets.
  • Support bid preparation and proposal documentation to enhance the team’s win rate.

Skills

Develop procurement strategy for projects or programmes
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
Understanding of commercial principles and modelling
Deliver strategy and develop documentation in capital projects or programmes

Education

Preferable degree in construction, civil engineering, quantity surveying, law or procurement

Due to increased workload and new client engagements across the public and private sectors, we have an opportunity for a Senior Procurement Consultant to join our growing Contract Services team in the UK.
