Job summary

ScottishPower is seeking a Procurement Manager for Corporate Services at HQ in Glasgow, hybrid work. The role leads high-value contract strategy from tendering through delivery, engaging contractors, managing relationships, and ensuring best value in line with Iberdrola Group processes.

You’ll bring experience in engineering/construction contracts in the UK, NEC3/4 knowledge, and Chartered status aspirational; strong Excel cost modelling, supplier bid evaluation, and stakeholder influence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a commercial/procurement role.
• Proven track record in negotiating and closing high value contracts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong numeracy and MS Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement of high-value contracts from strategy to delivery.
• Engage contractors and manage internal/external stakeholder relationships.
• Negotiate commercial terms and mitigate commercial risk.
• Prepare approval papers and obtain authorisations for contracts.
• Collaborate across Iberdrola/ScottishPower procurement to drive synergies.
• Provide support for post-contract commercial activities and claims resolution.
