Job summary

Ashtead Technology is seeking an experienced Senior Contract Specialist to join its growing commercial team. This role is based at our Kintore and Turriff offices in the UK, with travel between both locations required.

You will own high-value customer and supplier contracts, influence commercial outcomes, and support strategic business initiatives across an international environment. Key responsibilities include negotiating, drafting, reviewing and executing complex agreements; advising on risk

• Proven track record negotiating complex contracts.
• Strong understanding of commercial and contractual principles.
• Experience operating in international environments.

Responsibilities

• Leading the negotiation, drafting, review, and execution of complex commercial agreements.
• Advising senior stakeholders on contractual risk, governance, and commercial strategy.
• Managing customer and supplier contracts, including Framework Agreements and Master Service Agreements.
• Supporting business development, tendering, project delivery, and operational teams.
• Driving best practice in contract management and commercial governance.
• Contributing to dispute avoidance, claims management, and commercial performance improvement initiatives.
