Job summary

BGIS is seeking a capable leader to manage a defined team of engineers and deliver high‑quality facility services in a London area operation. The role requires close liaison with staff, clients and senior management to ensure proactive delivery and total customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will oversee H&S, statutory compliance, and maintenance planning, while driving performance reviews and efficient resource use across sites.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a technical team and coordinating engineers
• Up-to-date knowledge of AC/FGAS, fire and environmental control
• Ability to manage safety, compliance and KPI delivery

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a defined team to meet operational commitments
• Liaise with employees, clients and senior managers
• Ensure service levels are maintained and improved
• Support Helpdesk to achieve high customer satisfaction
• Plan and manage PPM schedules and compliance
• Procure materials and services as required
• Carry out site reviews and engineer appraisals
• Attend operational meetings and report outcomes
