The Senior Continuous Improvement Manager role sits within the Transformation Office Directorate, reporting into the Head of Continuous Improvement. The Transformation Office supports the university's senior leadership in strategy execution, delivering transformation initiatives, and driving sustainable improvements.
As a Senior CI Manager, you will lead process improvement programmes, applying CI methodologies to identify root causes, reduce inefficiencies, and eliminate waste. You will train staff in CI practices like lean, Six Sigma, Agile, and more, tailoring content for higher education. Mentoring and coaching across Kings, supporting CI development, and promoting a continuous improvement mindset are key responsibilities. You will collaborate with faculty and functional leaders to prioritize and deliver CI projects, facilitate workshops, and foster a CI community. Additionally, you will support wider Transformation Office initiatives and advocate for the CI function across Kings.
To succeed, candidates should have:
Experience in higher education or related sectors and understanding of the sector context.
