Job summary

Frasia Wright Associates is recruiting a Legal Director or Partner in Scotland to lead on contentious construction matters from Glasgow or Edinburgh. You will manage a varied caseload across disputes, adjudications, arbitration, litigation and recoveries for diverse clients in the construction sector.

The successful candidate should have a minimum of 7 years’ PQE with a strong background in commercial construction disputes, and proven client-facing leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years’ PQE in commercial construction disputes.
• Strong client-facing experience and ability to lead a team.
• Able to base in Glasgow or Edinburgh and progress junior colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead on complex contentious construction matters, including disputes, adjudications, arbitration, litigation and subrogated recoveries.
• Advise a diverse client base including contractors, employers, consultants and local authorities.
• Manage a varied caseload and contribute to business development and mentoring of junior lawyers.
