Job summary

Hack The Box is seeking a Senior Content Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain Machines, Pro Labs, and Cloud Labs for the Enterprise platform. You will create realistic, scalable training content used by organizations worldwide, collaborating with Content and Infrastructure teams to solve complex challenges.

The role emphasizes enterprise tech experience, cloud proficiencies, scripting, and the ability to work independently or remotely.

Qualifications

• Native or bilingual proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Strong experience with enterprise technologies and infrastructure.
• Experience designing and administering Active Directory environments.
• Strong networking knowledge including routing, switching, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and enterprise network architectures.
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP).
• Experience with scripting or programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar.
• Knowledge of AI technologies and their practical applications.
• Highly organized, motivated, with a strong passion for information security and technology.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to learn new skills.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple projects, working both independently and remotely.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality content for the Hack The Box Enterprise platform, including Machines, Pro Labs, and Cloud Labs.
• Design, build, test, and maintain realistic enterprise, cloud, and hybrid lab environments, challenges, and machines.
• Take business goals into account when creating content and making technical decisions.
• Work closely with Content Development, Infrastructure, and other stakeholders daily to tackle complex technical challenges.
• Research emerging technologies, attack techniques, enterprise solutions, cloud services, and security trends to stay relevant.
• Automate workflows and deployment processes to improve content production, testing, and maintenance efficiency.
• Develop scalable multi-network environments incorporating Active Directory, cloud services, and modern infrastructures.
• Contribute to technical documentation, solution validation, and QA for training content delivered globally.
