Senior Content Designer — Strategy & AI UX Lead

Job summary

Tangity UK is seeking a senior Content Designer to build the content design capability from the ground up. You’ll move between high-level strategy and hands-on writing across multi-channel digital services, including AI-driven content.

You’ll partner with UX, service design and research to make content a core design discipline, shaping how organisations communicate through interfaces, forms, and chat. Leadership and cross-studio collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in content strategy, design or UX writing, with senior or lead roles.
• Experience designing content for multi-channel digital services in consultancy, agency or large in-house teams.
• Hands-on experience designing conversational interfaces and prompts for AI.
• Strong governance of content design systems, style guides and accessibility.
• Excellent stakeholder management and presenting to senior client audiences.
• Ability to translate research and analytics into content strategy and recommendations.
• Experience mentoring other content designers or writers.
• Experience with AI content generation tools and prompt design.

Responsibilities

• Set the content design strategy and vision for client engagements.
• Lead content design on complex multi-workstream programs.
• Present strategy to senior client stakeholders.
• Build and mentor content design capability within Tangity UK.
• Champion content design across the wider studio.
• Collaborate with UX, service design, research and delivery leads.
