W&O are made up of three capability teams, including Programme & Change Acceleration (‘P&CA’) which is the focus of this specific role. P&CA houses Capgemini Invent’s transformation programme delivery and change experts.

YOUR ROLE

As a Senior Consultant with expertise in Programme and Portfolio Management, you will deliver complex client business transformation initiatives across a variety of sectors. With an agile mindset and a strong grasp of P3M tools and techniques, you will lead clients through their transformation journeys. Your understanding of market trends and emerging challenges will allow you to offer valuable insights and strategic advice, helping clients achieve lasting and impactful change.

As a Senior Consultant you will play a key role in:

  • Independently lead the execution of overall work stream(s) on client delivery, and being a mentor/coach to junior team members, enabling capability development and growth of our team.
  • Implementing P3M methodologies / principles on client engagements to drive forward P&CA thought leadership.
  • Contributing to the development of internal training pathways to enhance P&CA capability in areas such as automation, tooling, and P3M methodologies.
  • Able to shape andsolve problemsusing a fact-based approach to driveinsight to clients.
  • Having a commercial mindset to proactively identify new opportunities to support clients and shape our P3M offer.

As part of your role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:

  • Business Development – Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.
  • Internal contribution – Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
  • Learning & development – Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Proven track record of delivering complex transformation initiatives across various industries. Expertise in programme governance, stakeholder management and risk management.
  • Experience managing a workstream(s) or a small project on client delivery and delegating work to direct reports.
  • Experience and expertise of multiple P3M delivery approaches and methodologies.
  • Experience with automation solutions, including workflow automation, AI resource augmentation, AI-driven reporting, or Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
  • Strong commercial awareness, including identifying and converting sales opportunities or managing budgets effectively.
  • Demonstrated skills in people development through coaching and managing others.

Desirable skills and/or experience:

  • Hold relevant P3M qualifications
    • MSP, MoP, and/or P3O from Axelos
    • PMQ, PPQ and/or ChPP from APM
    • PMP and/or PgMP from PMI
    • PROSCI or APMG qualifications
    • PRINCE2 Practitioner or agile equivalents
    • Experience and expertise of key technologies such as S4/Hana, Workday, Salesforce, Oracle & Microsoft product suite.
    • Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions.
    • Currently working in a major Consulting firm, and/or in industry but having a Consulting background.
    • Experience of proposition building and delivery.
    • Hold UK security vetting status of Security Check (SC).
