Job summary

ADAPTOVATE is looking for an experienced Senior Consultant to join our London team, leading client workstreams and solving complex business problems with senior stakeholders. You will drive transformation initiatives and contribute to business development while mentoring junior consultants.

You will also influence ADAPTOVATE’s methodologies and IP, leveraging AI insights to deliver practical, measurable outcomes in a hybrid London environment.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5–8 years of management consulting experience.
• Currently operating at Senior Consultant, Manager, or equivalent level.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field; Master’s/MBA advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead workstreams within complex client engagements, from problem definition through to recommendation and implementation.
• Structure ambiguous business problems, develop hypotheses, analyse information, and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and manage day-to-day engagement with senior stakeholders.
• Drive business transformation initiatives across operating model, organisational change, process improvement, strategy execution, and digital transformation.
• Adapt your approach to client context, ensuring practical, sustainable solutions with measurable outcomes.
• Bring an informed perspective on AI and emerging technologies to help clients create business value.
• Contribute to business development through proposals, RFPs, research, account development, and client conversations.
• Support and develop junior consultants through coaching, feedback, and high-quality project leadership.
• Contribute to ADAPTOVATE’s IP, methodologies, and points of view based on project experience.

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Consultant to join our London team. You will play a key role in leading client workstreams, solving complex business problems, managing senior stakeholders, and delivering meaningful transformation outcomes. You will also contribute to business development and help strengthen our growing consulting practice.

What will you be doing?

What ADAPTOVATE is looking for?

• Approximately 5–8 years of management consulting experience, ideally within a leading strategy, management, transformation, or digital consulting firm
• Currently operating at Senior Consultant, Manager, or equivalent level
• Strong structured problem‑solving and analytical capability
• Demonstrated experience leading complex consulting workstreams and managing client relationships independently
• Experience across business transformation, operating model, organisational change, digital strategy, process improvement, or strategy execution
• Strong executive communication skills, including the ability to structure a compelling story, present confidently, and adapt your communication to different audiences
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and navigating complex client environments
• Commercial awareness and some exposure to business development, proposals, or account growth
• Genuine interest in AI and emerging technology and how these can be applied to business transformation; technical expertise is not required
• Ability to support and develop junior team members while maintaining high standards of delivery
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree or MBA is advantageous
