Enterprise HR Tech Architect & Engagement Lead

This role is suited for an HR architect who can bridge the gap between specialist solution engineers and high-level programme directors—owning vendor-ecosystem strategy, enterprise design, and hands-on delivery leadership. You will manage the full lifecycle of complex, multi-vendor HR-technology consulting programmes and support the Director of Innovation & AI by delivering end-to-end solutions for complex HR-technology strategies.

Translate GenAI trends into board-approved architecture and measurable business value, driving the programme from start to finish.

• Navigate the AI vendor landscape with impartial authority.
• Align AI outcomes with business KPIs, satisfying both CHROs and CFOs.

Role Profile:

• Architect & Advice: Develop enterprise-wide HR operating models and solution blueprints integrating systems like Workday, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, ServiceNow HRSD, UKG Pro, ADP, Ceridian Dayforce, Cornerstone OnDemand, BambooHR, and other solutions.
• Lead & Deliver: Act as a hands-on engagement lead, overseeing discovery, design, and value realization, enabling senior leadership to scale the practice.
• Stay Vendor-Agnostic: Evaluate ecosystems objectively; recommend optimal solutions based on client KPIs.
• Influence the Board: Communicate technical trade-offs effectively to secure funding and support.
• Map vendor inter-dependencies and integration points; recommend architectures that balance best-of-suite and best-of-breed approaches.
• Translate executive objectives into practical architectures and delivery plans.

Candidate Profile:

• Hands-on knowledge of the HR-tech vendor ecosystem, able to articulate strengths, weaknesses, and integration patterns across major vendors and solutions.
• Experience in HRIS / People-Tech transformations across FTSE-350 or similar companies.
• Experience in productising advisory tools and accelerators.
• End-to-end HR-operating-model design, technology rationalisation, change management, and analytics.
• Experience in cloud HR vendor selection, payroll consolidation, HR service digitalisation, and AI-readiness planning.
• Participation in board-level EX and workforce-analytics discussions that lead to future consulting opportunities.
