Qualifikationen

• Appointment as Consultant Histopathologist; interest in a sub-specialist area advantageous.
• No requirement to report cervical cytology or diagnostic cytology unless demonstrated; inclusion in cytology rota optional.

• Undertake routine case reporting, including frozen section reporting.
• Participate in sub-specialty team reporting of complex resection specimens.
• Provide pathology support to cancer multidisciplinary teams.
• Contribute to audit, monitoring of clinical services, and CPD activities.
• Supervise and train medical, scientific and technical staff within the directorate.
• Support clinical colleagues and discuss histopathological findings as required.
