Zusammenfassung

South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Consultant Cellular Pathologist to join the Tees Valley Pathology service. The post primarily sits at the University Hospital of North Tees, with cross-site support as plans progress, and involves routine histopathology reporting and frozen section work.

Applicants should have FRCPath or equivalent, GMC registration with a licence to practice, and a strong interest in subspecialty pathology.

Qualifikationen

DBS clearance is required for new staff and costs are deducted from the first month's pay.

Aufgaben

Undertake routine case reporting, including frozen section reporting, for a general surgical case mix.
Participate in sub-specialty team reporting of complex resection specimens.
Provide advice and discuss histopathological findings with clinical colleagues.
Contribute to audit and monitoring of the effectiveness of the clinical services.
