Job summary

ERM seeks a Senior Consultant to lead high-impact work on low carbon energy with a primary focus on heat networks in the built environment. You will guide projects from concept to delivery, supported by a Project Manager and Partner-in-Charge, shaping policy and business strategy for clients in real estate, energy and networks.

You will evaluate markets, perform quantitative analyses, and provide thought leadership and strategic advice.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in the energy sector and/or consultancy with a focus on heat networks.
• Track record of successful project delivery.
• Outstanding achievement and impact in your career to date.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent (Minimum 2.1).
• Strong interest in sustainability and low carbon energy with proven expertise on heat networks.
• Excellent numeracy and problem-solving skills.
• IT literate with strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Deliver heat network and decarbonisation projects to high quality.
• Research technologies, markets and concepts related to heat decarbonisation.
• Develop techno-economic models and perform quantitative analysis.
• Prepare briefing documents, reports and presentations for meetings.
• Communicate results to diverse audiences and stakeholders.
• Contribute to work winning and business development activities.
