Senior EIA Consultant - RPS

RPS is seeking a Senior EIA Consultant to join our team, based in Abingdon, London, Cardiff, Manchester, or Edinburgh. We are involved in some of the UK's most exciting Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects, including large-scale energy projects such as solar, offshore wind, interconnectors, and energy storage. Our portfolio includes projects like the Gatwick Airport Northern Runway, Morgan and Mona Offshore Wind, and others.

Our team collaborates with major companies like bp renewables, EnBW, and others, with a strong track record in renewables, transport, and net zero initiatives.

What you’ll be doing

• Managing EIA projects and providing advice on EIA Regulations
• Partnering with multidisciplinary teams including health, sustainability, climate change, and more
• Drafting reports, scoping, and environmental statements
• Mentoring junior team members and working on bid/tender documents

Who we’re looking for

• Relevant environmental degree, MSc preferred
• Experience managing EIA projects in a consultancy setting
• Knowledge of EIA process; digital EIA experience is desirable
• Experience with NSIPs/DCO projects and energy sector preferred
• Full UK driving license required
