Job summary

Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust is recruiting a Consultant Paediatrician in Community Child Health to deliver specialist paediatric services across Brent. The post involves MDT clinics, triage of referrals and EHCP medical assessments within a supportive team spanning Wembley, Willesden and Village Special School sites.

You will teach and supervise residents and students, contribute to governance and quality improvement, and may take Lead Consultant responsibilities aligned to

Qualifications

• Must hold GMC Specialist Register for Paediatrics or be within six months of CCT/CCST/CESR at interview.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist community paediatric care across Brent in MDT settings.
• Attend MDT discussions and contribute to decision making.
• Lead CDT clinics, triage referrals, and perform EHCP medical assessments.
• Participate in teaching, training and supervision of staff and students.
• Take on leadership and service development roles as required.
