Job summary

Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust in Brent seeks a dynamic Community Consultant Paediatrician to join our friendly team on a bank, sessional basis. The post is 8PAs with clinics at Wembley or Willesden, no SPA time, and no child protection cover requirements.

The successful candidate will be GMC Specialist Register eligible, or within six months of CCT/CCST, to provide great care closer to home within a multidisciplinary framework.

Qualifications

• MBBS and MRCPCH with CCT/CCST or near completion.
• Full GMC registration with license to practice.
• Specialist Register or within six months of CCT at interview.
• Capable to work at Consultant level in Community Child Health.
• Proven commitment to ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Work within a multidisciplinary team across Brent CSU.
• Cover clinical activities: clinics, referrals triage, MDT discussions.
• Manage EHCP medical assessments where applicable.
• Conform to governance, patient safety, and service improvement.
