Job summary

Frazer-Nash Consultancy in Portsmouth is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Capability Delivery Partner team. The role blends office, client site and home-based working within a flexible hybrid pattern, with a salary range of £65,000 to £72,000 per year.

You will contribute to major programmes, lead delivery activities, and collaborate across partners and government sectors, applying P3M expertise to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in Royal Navy or similar defence environment.
• Background in communications or information handling.
• Familiarity with environments handling classified information.
• Experience delivering across multi-partner delivery settings.
• Proven P3M delivery experience in Defence, Energy, Transport or Government sectors.

Responsibilities

• Operate within a team to deliver large and complex programmes for clients.
• Embed within a client team to deliver projects on their behalf.
• Work across industries, adapting to new challenges and learning opportunities.
• Provide project management or project controls advice to clients.
• Support design, implementation and operation of PMOs across the P3M spectrum.

Location: Portsmouth

Working Pattern: We operate a flexible hybrid working pattern at Frazer-Nash, with time split between the office, client sites and working from home.

The Person

To thrive in the role, you will be able to demonstrate the following essential experience:

• Experience in Royal Navy, preferably Royal Marines.


• Communications / Information background.


• Familiarity with classified information handling environments.


• Experience working across multi-partner delivery environments.


• Demonstrable experience in Project Management / P3M Delivery ideally to have been gained in one of our key market sectors; Defence, Energy, Transport, Central Government
