Job summary

Frazer-Nash Consultancy in Portsmouth is seeking a Senior Consultant - Capability Delivery Partner to help deliver large, complex programmes for clients within a flexible hybrid pattern of office, client sites and home working.

You will be embedded in client teams, delivering projects and providing PMO support across multiple sectors, including defence, energy and transport, with a focus on P3M delivery excellence.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Royal Navy, preferably Royal Marines.
  • Communications / Information background.
  • Familiarity with classified information handling environments.
  • Experience working across multi-partner delivery environments.
  • PM/P3M delivery experience in Defence, Energy, Transport or Central Government; knowledge of PM methodologies.

  • Operating within a team to collectively deliver large and complex programmes for our clients.
  • Embedded as an individual within a client team to deliver projects or programmes on their behalf.
  • Working in a variety of industries and facing new challenges while learning opportunities are pursued.
  • Providing project management or project controls advice to clients.
  • Supporting the design, implementation, and operation of PMOs across the P3M spectrum.

Title: Senior Consultant - Capability Delivery Partner Salary range: £65,000 to £72,000 per annum depending on experience Location: Portsmouth Working Pattern: We operate a flexible hybrid working pattern at Frazer-Nash, with time split between the office, client sites and working from home. The Person

To thrive in the role, you will be able to demonstrate the following essential experience:

  • Experience in Royal Navy, preferably Royal Marines.
  • Communications / Information background.
  • Familiarity with classified information handling environments.
  • Experience working across multi-partner delivery environments.
  • Demonstrable experience in Project Management / P3M Delivery ideally to have been gained in one of our key market sectors; Defence, Energy, Transport, Central Government Practical experience & knowledge of PM methodologies

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience in defence, MOD, or nuclear programmes.
  • Familiarity with classified information handling environments.
  • Experience working across multi-partner delivery environments.
  • Exposure to long-life or through-life capability and assurance challenges.
  • Security Clearance.

Additional Requirements:

  • Travel Required – Flexible Hybrid Working.
  • Min expected 2 Days per week in Portsmouth across two weeks per month.
  • Due to the nature of the work that Frazer-Nash Consultancy undertake, candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment screening and must be able to satisfy clearance criteria for UK National Security Vetting.
