G2 Legal Limited is seeking a Senior Construction Associate to join its esteemed construction team in the South East. The role offers leadership responsibilities, exposure to both contentious and non-contentious matters, and a chance to influence a growing practice.

The ideal candidate will have substantial construction law experience, strong drafting and client-care skills, and demonstrable supervisory or mentoring experience.

Qualifications

• Substantial construction law experience.
• Commercial litigation background including construction disputes.

Responsibilities

• Advising on construction contracts, disputes and related commercial issues.
• Drafting clear, practical legal documents and correspondence.
• Managing matters from instruction through to resolution.
• Supervising junior lawyers and fee-earners; providing guidance.
• Coaching and file support to junior team members.
• Contributing to appraisals and departmental growth.
• Supporting marketing, networking and new-business activity.
• Improving systems and consistency across the department.
