G2legal is seeking a Senior Construction Associate to join its respected construction team in the South East. You will manage your own caseload, advise on contracts and disputes, and supervise junior lawyers while developing business.

The role offers a senior position with a salary of £60,000-£75,000 DOE, and opportunities to influence the department from Basildon or Chelmsford offices.

Qualifications

• Substantial construction law experience.
• Experience in contentious and non-contentious matters.
• Strong client-care and drafting skills.
• Previous supervisory or mentoring experience.
• Ability to develop client relationships and generate work.

Responsibilities

• Advising on contracts, disputes and related issues.
• Drafting clear legal documents and correspondence.
• Managing matters from initial instruction through to resolution.
• Supervising junior lawyers and fee-earners.
• Providing technical guidance, coaching and file support.
• Contributing to appraisals and team development.
• Supporting marketing, networking and new-business activity.
• Helping improve systems and consistency across the department.
