Job summary

Executive Network Legal Limited is seeking a Construction Solicitor (4+ PQE) in Hertfordshire to join a highly regarded Construction team advising a diverse client base across the public and private sectors.

You will handle both contentious and non-contentious construction matters, including drafting and negotiating JCT, NEC and FIDIC contracts, and managing your own caseload with responsibility for strategy, deadlines, budgets and client relationships.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' PQE in construction law with experience in contentious and/or non-contentious matters.
• Strong drafting, analytical and negotiating skills.
• Excellent commercial awareness and client-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Advise developers, property owners, contractors, consultants and insurers on construction matters.
• Manage disputes including litigation, adjudication, arbitration, and mediation.
• Advise on JCT, NEC and FIDIC contracts and draft agreements.
• Manage own caseload, set strategy, deadlines and budgets.
• Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to team development.
