Job summary

Size Group Limited is seeking a Senior Construction Site Logistics Manager to lead all on-site logistics for a major Berkshire project. You will coordinate deliveries, traffic, waste, security and emergency procedures, while ensuring health, safety and environmental standards are met.

A small team of logistics staff reports to you. The role demands strong organisation, leadership and extensive construction logistics experience across UK projects.

Qualifications

• SMSTS (essential)
• CSCS Black Card (or equivalent)
• Fire Coordinator certification (or equivalent)
• First Aid at Work (essential)
• NEBOSH or IOSH (desirable)
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in construction logistics on large UK projects
• Strong knowledge of H&S legislation, CDM Regulations, and site compliance
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple moving parts
• Confident communicator and effective team leader

Responsibilities

• Oversee all site logistics including delivery scheduling, traffic management, and material storage
• Lead on-site health & safety coordination, CDM compliance, RAMS review, and incident reporting
• Act as Lead Fire Coordinator, managing emergency procedures and fire equipment compliance
• Manage site security, access control, gate operations, and CCTV monitoring
• Implement and monitor the Site Waste Management Plan and environmental compliance
• Supervise logistics operatives, traffic marshals, and security staff
• Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain workflow
