Job summary

Size Group is seeking a highly organised Senior Construction Site Logistics Manager to lead on-site logistics for a major Berkshire project. The role oversees delivery coordination, traffic flow, waste management, security, and emergency procedures, reporting to the project team.

You will manage a small team of logistics and security staff, ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental standards while coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain smooth workflow.

Qualifications

• SMSTS qualification is essential.
• CSCS Black Card or equivalent is required.
• Fire Coordinator certification or equivalent.
• First Aid at Work is essential.
• NEBOSH or IOSH is desirable.
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in construction logistics on large UK projects.
• Strong knowledge of H&S legislation, CDM Regulations, and site compliance.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple moving parts.
• Confident communicator and effective team leader.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all site logistics including delivery scheduling, traffic management, and material storage.
• Lead on-site health & safety coordination, CDM compliance, RAMS review, and incident reporting.
• Act as Lead Fire Coordinator, managing emergency procedures and fire equipment compliance.
• Manage site security, access control, gate operations, and CCTV monitoring.
• Implement and monitor the Site Waste Management Plan and environmental compliance.
• Supervise logistics operatives, traffic marshals, and security staff.
• Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain workflow.

We are looking for a highly organised and experienced Senior Construction Site Logistics Manager to take the lead on all on‑site logistical operations for a major project in Berkshire. This role is central to ensuring the safe, efficient, and smooth running of the site, working closely with project teams, subcontractors, and operational staff.
