Job summary

Size Group is seeking a highly organised Senior Construction Site Logistics Manager to lead all on-site logistics for a major Berkshire project. You will coordinate deliveries, traffic flow, waste management, security, and emergency procedures, while ensuring strict health, safety and environmental standards.

You will lead a small team of logistics and security personnel, working with project teams and subcontractors to maintain smooth workflow and timely delivery of materials.

Qualifications

• SMSTS required.
• CSCS Black Card (or equivalent).
• Fire Coordinator certification (or equivalent).
• First Aid at Work (essential).
• NEBOSH or IOSH (desirable).
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in construction logistics on large UK projects.
• Strong knowledge of H&S legislation, CDM Regulations, and site compliance.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple moving parts.
• Confident communicator and effective team leader.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all site logistics including delivery scheduling, traffic management, and material storage.
• Lead on-site health & safety coordination, CDM compliance, RAMS review, and incident reporting.
• Act as Lead Fire Coordinator, managing emergency procedures and fire equipment compliance.
• Manage site security, access control, gate operations, and CCTV monitoring.
• Implement and monitor the Site Waste Management Plan and environmental compliance.
• Supervise logistics operatives, traffic marshals, and security staff.
• Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain workflow.
