Job summary

CHAP Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead construction and maintenance projects from inception through completion. You will oversee programming, labour management, subcontractors and financial performance while maintaining high Health & Safety standards across site activities.

Work closely with clients, site teams and commercial departments to drive excellence, ensure defect-free handovers, and implement project completion plans for continuous business improvement.

Qualifications

• CSCS Card is a minimum requirement.
• Driver’s licence required.
• SMSTS certification desirable.
• CSCS Manager’s card beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal and motivational abilities.
• Desirable experience with steel frame and cladding projects.
• Experience in contracts/ project management within construction.

Responsibilities

• Overall project management of assigned projects including programme progress, cost control, direct labour management and subcontractor oversight.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to high quality standards.
• Coordinate with clients, site teams and commercial departments to drive operational excellence.
• Develop construction programmes from tender to construction phase with accurate scheduling and forecasting.
• Lead, mentor, and develop staff; participate in strategic discussions within the construction division.
