Job Description:

Location: Guildford - Full-time site-based position

The Senior Project Manager will report to the Divisional Director on this exciting healthcare project, currently at procurement stage. The project exceeds £10M and involves a new build block on an existing site. You will oversee the Mechanical or Electrical building services on site.

You should have an excellent understanding of the full project lifecycle, including project contract obligations, procurement, commercial, and quality aspects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read drawings & specifications and extract information for accurate costing.
• Induct personnel onto site, conduct daily briefs, toolbox talks, prepare and issue RAMS, monitor H&S plan.
• Prepare and issue technical submissions for major orders, monitor stock materials, assist with procurement, oversee deliveries and hire goods.
• Liaise with subcontractors & specialists, coordinate works, troubleshoot.
• Monitor project progress & report to Main Contractor / Client / Operations Manager.
• Ensure high standards are maintained, implement and monitor IMS systems.
• Attend meetings, provide input for project/client progress updates.
• Arrange, schedule, and monitor commissioning/testing, retain records for O&M.
• Prepare manuals, as-installed drawings, building logbooks, and operational guides.
• Maintain strong communication with the delivery team and stakeholders.
• Build and maintain good relationships with the site team, client, and end-users.
• Manage site personnel professionally and courteously.
• Liaise with design team, consultants, and clients, providing relevant information.
• Oversee H&S, procurement, and delivery aspects.

Key Skills and Experience:

• At least 10 years in Project Management.
• Specialization in Mechanical or Electrical.
• Experience managing projects from start to finish.
• Client-facing experience in Healthcare or similar sectors.
