Cobalt Recruitment in Northamptonshire is seeking a qualified Management Accountant to join a UK construction business in a permanent hybrid role. You will deliver monthly management accounts, support budgets and provide financial insight to senior stakeholders, helping drive efficiency across a major project and wider finance function.

This role offers exposure to commercial teams, development opportunities and flexible working patterns.

Competenze

• A recognised professional accounting qualification.
• Experience in management accounting, budgeting and reporting.
• Experience preparing MI and analysing financial performance.
• Understanding cash flow, cost control and balance sheet reporting.
• Strong communication of financial information to stakeholders.
• Experience with financial systems and reporting tools.

Mansioni

• Prepare monthly management accounts, reports and commentary.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital and project costs.
• Support budgets, forecasts, reviews and group reporting packs.
• Analyse performance against forecasts and identify variances.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and assist year-end audits.
• Maintain financial controls across payments, VAT and taxes.
• Collaborate with operational and commercial teams for insights.
• Identify improvements to reporting processes and controls.
