Job summary

NMS Recruit is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a major new build project in Bath, South West England. You will oversee planning, coordination, and execution to ensure on programme delivery, budget adherence, and the highest quality standards.

Experience with Student Accommodation, PBSA, or BTR is advantageous. We expect a proactive leader with a track record of delivering complex construction projects from inception through to completion, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and

Qualifications

• Experience as Project Manager in construction, focused on new build.
• Delivery of medium to large-scale projects from pre-construction to completion.
• Strong commercial awareness to manage budgets and financial performance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Understanding of construction methodologies, contracts, and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the project, ensuring programme, budget, quality and safety objectives are achieved.
• Lead and coordinate project teams, including Site Management, Commercial, Design, and Engineering functions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and key stakeholders.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance with the commercial team.
• Monitor construction progress, identify risks and opportunities, and implement mitigation strategies.
