Job summary

Turner & Townsend in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Lead Planner (Project Controls) to drive planning excellence across major programmes and projects. You will guide scheduling, develop integrated schedules, and mentor planning professionals to ensure client-focused delivery.

As a leader, you will establish standards, manage risks, and report performance to senior stakeholders while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across lifecycle stages.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering planning and scheduling across full project lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of planning principles and scheduling methodologies.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Experience mentoring planners and leading teams.
• Eligible to obtain BPSS level security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and scheduling across major programmes.
• Mentor planning professionals and develop the team.
• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules with robust methodology.
• Provide expert advice on planning strategy, schedule performance and forecast.
• Establish planning standards and governance across projects.
• Produce planning reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
