Qualifications

• Experience as Contracts Manager, QS, or senior construction professional.
• Strong understanding of commercial and operational aspects of construction.
• Experience coordinating site teams across multiple projects.
• Ability to prepare estimates, quotations and project budgets.
• Knowledge of construction programming, procurement and contract administration.
• Strong commercial negotiation skills.
• Excellent client-facing communication and relationship management.
• Experience managing Site Foremen and subcontractors.
• Highly organised, proactive and able to work independently.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the day-to-day construction operations of the business.
• Managing multiple projects from initial enquiry through to completion.
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients and maintaining strong working relationships.
• Preparing estimates, quotations and pricing submissions for new projects.
• Producing and monitoring construction programmes.
• Overseeing Site Foremen and ensuring works progress in line with programme requirements.
• Managing subcontractor procurement, appointments and coordination.
• Monitoring project budgets, costs, variations and commercial performance.
• Supporting contract administration, valuations and final accounts.
• Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors and consultants.
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
• Identifying and resolving operational and commercial issues.
• Working closely with the Managing Director on workload planning, resource allocation and wider business performance.
