Job summary

Search Consultancy is working with a well-established specialist engineering and infrastructure contractor in Scotland to hire a Construction Manager. The successful candidate will oversee construction operations, lead site teams and ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.

You will manage site resources, coordinate Site Managers, engineers and subcontractors across multiple projects, maintain programmes and drive performance while upholding health and safety and

Qualifications

• Experience as Construction Manager or senior site manager in construction or infrastructure.
• Knowledge of construction methodologies and site management practices.
• Experience leading site teams and managing subcontractors on complex projects.
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
• Commitment to health and safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day delivery of construction across multiple projects, safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate Site Managers, Engineers, subcontractors and project teams.
• Maintain programmes, monitor progress and implement recovery plans.
• Manage resources, labour, plant and materials to maximise productivity and control costs.
• Maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and quality standards.
