Job summary

KBR is seeking a Construction Manager to lead on-site construction activities for complex EPC/infrastructure projects. You will coordinate engineering, procurement and construction functions from mobilisation through handover, ensuring safety, quality and schedule adherence across multiple teams and contractors.

The role emphasizes risk management, reporting, and close collaboration with clients and stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes within defined budgets.

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing construction activities on large-scale EPC or infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience overseeing subcontractors and multi-disciplinary site teams.
• Demonstrated experience managing project schedules, budgets, and cost control activities.
• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all on-site construction activities across assigned projects, ensuring alignment with approved execution strategies and project objectives.
• Oversee contractors and subcontractors to ensure work is performed in accordance with specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress against milestones, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions to maintain delivery timelines.
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies and regulatory requirements across all site operations.
• Review and approve construction methodologies, work plans, risk assessments, and permit-to-work systems.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project controls teams for seamless project phase integration.
• Manage cost performance by tracking expenditures and supporting budget control and forecasting.
• Facilitate communication between clients, consultants, and site teams with regular status updates.
• Lead site inspections and quality assurance processes to resolve technical or operational issues.
