Job summary

KBR is seeking a Construction Manager to lead on-site construction activities for complex EPC projects within its infrastructure and energy portfolio. You will coordinate across engineering, procurement and construction teams to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes on schedule and within budget.

The role requires active engagement with contractors and stakeholders, strong scheduling and cost-control skills, and a focus on continuous improvement and safety on site.

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing construction on large EPC or infrastructure projects.
• Experience overseeing subcontractors and multidisciplinary site teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage schedules, budgets and cost control.
• SMSTS certification with site safety leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site construction activities across assigned projects, aligning with execution strategies.
• Oversee contractors to ensure work meets specs, schedules and quality standards.
• Monitor progress against milestones and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies and regulatory requirements.
• Review and approve construction methodologies, work plans, risk assessments, and permits.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement and project controls for seamless phase integration.
• Support budget control, forecasting and reporting through cost tracking.
• Maintain client, consultant and site team communications with regular status updates.
• Lead site inspections, QA processes and issue resolution during construction.
