Job summary

KBR is seeking a Construction Manager to lead on-site construction activities for complex EPC projects within its infrastructure and energy portfolio. You will coordinate across engineering, procurement and site teams from mobilisation to handover, ensuring safety, quality and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing construction activities on large-scale EPC or infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience overseeing subcontractors and multi-disciplinary site teams.
• Demonstrated experience managing project schedules, budgets, and cost control activities.
• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all on-site construction activities across assigned projects, ensuring alignment with approved execution strategies and project objectives.
• Oversee contractors and subcontractors to ensure work is performed in accordance with specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress against milestones, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions to maintain delivery timelines.
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and regulatory requirements across all site operations.
• Review and approve construction methodologies, work plans, risk assessments, and permit-to-work systems.
• Coordinate closely with engineering, procurement, and project controls teams to ensure seamless integration of project phases.
• Manage cost performance by tracking expenditures, supporting budget control, and contributing to forecasting and reporting activities.
• Facilitate communication between clients, consultants, and site teams, providing regular updates on project status and key deliverables.
• Lead site inspections, quality assurance processes, and resolution of technical or operational issues during construction execution.
