Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead multiple UK projects from our Northamptonshire HQ. You will shape the construction function, set delivery strategy, and build capabilities to support growth.

You will travel across the UK and work closely with design, engineering, manufacturing and commercial teams to drive excellence from pre-construction through handover. The role requires senior leadership experience in principal contractor environments, strong planning

Qualifications

• Senior Construction Leader with credibility in delivery and strategic thinking
• Experience with complex projects, governance and safety standards
• Strong management of multi-disciplinary teams and interfaces

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership across multiple UK construction projects
• Develop and implement construction standards and delivery strategy
• Lead Project Managers, Site Managers and delivery teams to ensure safe, profitable delivery
• Drive programme, safety, quality, productivity and commercial performance
• Oversee design coordination, buildability and construction readiness through RIBA Stages 0-7
• Integrate off-site manufacture and DfMA into delivery where appropriate
• Manage interfaces across design, procurement, engineering and construction
• Ensure delivery within live airport environments and build strong client relationships
• Provide construction expertise across pre-construction, tenders, business development and growth
