Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection LTD is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead UK-wide airports infrastructure projects from our Northamptonshire HQ. You will shape delivery strategy, standardise construction practices and drive a scalable function across multiple sites with extensive travel.

You will oversee design coordination, buildability, and delivery readiness through RIBA Stages 0-7 while integrating MMC/DFMA to maximise efficiency and safety in live environments.

Qualifications

• Senior Construction Leader with strategic delivery responsibilities.
• Experience developing standards, governance and delivery strategy.
• Proven ability to lead Project Managers and delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Providing senior leadership across multiple concurrent UK construction projects.
• Developing and implementing construction standards, governance and delivery strategy.
• Leading and developing Project Managers, Site Managers and wider delivery teams.
• Driving programme, safety, quality, productivity and commercial performance.
• Overseeing design coordination, buildability and construction readiness through RIBA Stages 0-7.
• Integrating off-site manufacture, modular construction and DfMA into delivery where appropriate.
• Managing complex interfaces across design, engineering, procurement, manufacturing and construction.
• Ensuring safe and effective delivery within live airport and operational environments.
• Building strong relationships with clients, airport operators, contractors and senior stakeholders.
• Providing construction expertise across pre-construction, tenders, business development and strategic growth.
• Driving continuous improvement, lessons learned and the development of a scalable construction function.
