Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection is recruiting a Senior Construction Leader to take a leading role in a growing specialist airport infrastructure business. Based at our Northamptonshire HQ with UK-wide travel, you will shape the construction function and set delivery standards.

You will provide strategic and operational leadership across projects, driving safety, quality and performance, and oversee Project Managers, Site Managers and wider delivery teams to ensure profitable, on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

• Providing senior leadership across multiple concurrent UK construction projects.
• Developing and implementing construction standards, governance and delivery strategy.
• Leading and developing Project Managers, Site Managers and wider delivery teams.
• Driving programme, safety, quality, productivity and commercial performance.
• Overseeing design coordination, buildability and construction readiness through RIBA Stages 0-7.
• Integrating off-site manufacture, modular construction and DfMA into delivery where appropriate.
• Managing complex interfaces across design, engineering, procurement, manufacturing and construction.
• Ensuring safe and effective delivery within live airport and operational environments.
• Building strong relationships with clients, airport operators, contractors and senior stakeholders.
• Providing construction expertise across pre-construction, tenders, business development and strategic growth.
• Driving continuous improvement, lessons learned and the development of a scalable construction function.
