Job summary

Belcan is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead major construction activities within a highly regulated project environment in Manchester, UK. The role demands delivery of complex new-build projects and leadership of multidisciplinary teams across the full project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required.
• IOSH Qualification or equivalent is required.
• NEBOSH qualification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all onsite construction activities and teams.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to quality standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, commercial teams, contractors and subcontractors.
• Oversee construction planning, programme development, and progress reporting.
• Manage construction assurance, quality, testing and commissioning activities.
• Develop and implement construction phase plans, safe systems of work and environmental management documentation.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and supporting departments to ensure successful project execution.
