Job summary

Progressive Recruitment is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead on-site construction activities for a major new build project in a highly regulated environment.

You will manage multidisciplinary teams, contractors and stakeholders from pre-construction through handover, ensuring safety, quality and programme delivery.

The role requires extensive experience in large-scale projects, with familiarity in nuclear or other regulated sectors considered advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all on-site construction activities.
• Ensure construction works align with approved designs and project requirements.
• Coordinate contractors and subcontractors.
• Oversee testing, commissioning and handover milestones.
• Develop construction execution strategies and delivery plans.
