Mic helmores LLP in the UK is seeking a Senior Associate for its busy Construction and Engineering practice. The role focuses on non-contentious work, with the option to handle contentious matters.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years' post-qualified experience in Construction and Engineering practice.
• Experience of advising and acting on a range of construction matters that align with client work described above.
• Extensive drafting and negotiating experience across a range of contract families including JCT, NEC, FIDIC, IChemE, Energy contracts including EPCs, O&Ms, Bespoke appointments and contracts and Ancillary documents (collateral warranties, bonds, PCGs etc)

Responsabilités

• Review and advise on contract terms proposed to clients.
• Draft and negotiate contracts, appointments and ancillary documents.
• Interact with clients and other advisors in person and on Teams calls.
• Support day-to-day file management alongside Partners and Managing Associate.
