Job summary

Boots UK is seeking an experienced Project Manager based in Nottingham to oversee construction and facilities management projects across the UK. You will manage planning, procurement, and delivery while keeping safety, cost, and timelines front and centre.

In this role you will coordinate internal teams and external suppliers, drive risk management, and ensure CDM compliance. A strong track record in live environments and stakeholder engagement is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with project management within the construction or facilities management sector.
• Experience delivering complex projects in live operational environments.
• Excellent partner engagement and relationship management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage tight deadlines and project budgets.
• Experience with CDM regulations and possession of SSSTS desirable.
• PRINCE2 or other formal project management qualification advantageous.
• Asbestos awareness
• Legionella awareness
• LOLER awareness
• Willingness to travel nationally, including overnight stays.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of construction and FM projects from planning through to completion and handover.
• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and programme requirements.
• Deliver projects safely and efficiently within live operational environments, minimising disruption to client activities.
• Coordinate design, procurement, and site activities with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Prepare and manage project documentation, budgets, risk registers, and progress reports.
• Ensure full compliance with CDM regulations, health & safety standards, and company procedures.
• Drive performance to achieve client satisfaction, quality outcomes, and value for money.
• Provide strong leadership and communication across all stakeholders and disciplines.
