Job summary

Aaron Wallis is recruiting a Senior Business Development Manager to drive growth in Construction Services across the Midlands and South Midlands/Southern England. The role focuses on building commercial relationships with Tier 1/2 contractors, asset managers and housing providers, managing opportunities worth £500k+ annually, and pursuing long-term framework agreements.

A base of £70k-£80k with commission and car, OTE £100k-£120k, awaits the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Strong track record in B2B construction sales.
• Experience with long and complex sales cycles.
• Knowledge of construction tendering and frameworks.
• High commercial awareness.
• Excellent relationship-building skills.
• Ability to engage with senior commercial and operational stakeholders.
• Proven ability to open doors, build credibility and close business.
• Energetic, resilient and proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Develop new relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors.
• Target large property owners and residential asset managers.
• Generate and develop new business opportunities.
• Position proposals and tender submissions commercially.
• Support tender and estimating teams through the sales process.
• Present and negotiate contracts.
• Develop strategic accounts post-award and manage key relationships.
• Identify opportunities where incumbents underperform.
