ScottishPower is seeking a Lead Consents & EIA Officer to drive energy and planning consents for on and offshore transmission projects from Cambuslang. You will provide technical leadership, coordinate consent activities, and ensure timely delivery in line with regulatory and internal policies.

You’ll manage a team of Officers, mentor junior staff, and contribute to continuous improvement across the Consents & EIA function while engaging regulators, landowners and communities.

Competenze

• Accreditation with chartered institute e.g. MRTPI or ISEP.
• Significant experience in consenting, EIA, stakeholder engagement or infrastructure delivery environments.
• Proven experience delivering consents across large programmes.
• Strong understanding of consents, EIA and stakeholder engagement for large infrastructure schemes.
• Leadership or coordination of consents activities across multiple projects or programmes.

• Lead acquisition and management of consents across major transmission projects with expert oversight on EIA matters.
• Identify and mitigate consenting risks, ensure compliance with legislation and company policies.
• Act as a key advisor to project teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Drive programme reporting, risk management and governance for consents data and records.
