Job summary

SP Energy Networks, part of the Iberdrola Group, seeks a Lead Consent & EIA Officer to drive consents and EIA across major transmission projects in Scotland and beyond. You will provide expert oversight, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and manage risk and governance of consent activities.

You will also lead a team of Consents & EIA Officers, supporting capability development and ensuring audit-ready documentation across core systems.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in consenting, EIA and stakeholder engagement for large infrastructure schemes.
• Proven ability to deliver consents across major transmission projects.
• Experience leading or coordinating multi-project consent activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead acquisition and management of consents across major transmission projects with expert oversight on EIA matters.
• Coordinate with Land, Project Managers, Engineering, Legal, regulators and landowners to meet milestones.
• Mentor junior staff and drive continuous improvement within the Consents & EIA team.
