Leonardo UK seeks a Senior Configuration and Change Control Engineer to lead configuration management across defence and aerospace programmes. You will own CMPs, drive best practice, ensure audit readiness, and govern end-to-end change control using TCU as the authoritative data source.

We are looking for a Senior Configuration and Change Control Engineer to join our Electronics Warfare (EW) and Combat Air (CA) Design Integrity team. Reporting to the Lead Configuration and Change Manager, you will provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise in configuration and change control across defence and aerospace programmes. As the Senior Configuration and Change Control Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and assuring configuration management arrangements throughout the product lifecycle, using TCU as the authoritative configuration and change control tool. As the Configuration Management lead for assigned programmes, you will own the Configuration Management Plan (CMP), ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory and organisational requirements, while driving best practice, governance, audit readiness and effective change control.

The salary range shown reflects the approved grade band for this role, or a narrower hiring range published within that band, and is benchmarked against the external market. Exceptions above the standard range are managed through governance controls to protect internal equity.
