Job Description:

The Senior Conference Producer is a dynamic role that combines market research, strategic planning, and operational excellence to deliver impactful conferences within the renewable energy sector. This role involves content creation, speaker engagement, and event profitability, requiring an adept professional who can identify emerging trends, craft compelling agendas, and deliver revenue-driven events. The role requires strong research techniques, market insights, and customer understanding, collaborating closely with marketing, sales, and operational teams to ensure seamless execution.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive industry research and build research campaigns.
  • Arrange and conduct structured research calls and interviews to gather insights.
  • Analyze customer drivers for attendees and sponsors to shape event strategies.
  • Brief sponsorship, delegate sales, and marketing teams effectively.
  • Create content marketing materials like webinars, articles, and infographics.
  • Plan and execute launch and repeat events.

Event Design and Management:

  • Identify and define engaging conference topics.
  • Transform research notes into structured agendas.
  • Select appropriate formats (presentations, panels, roundtables) and develop profitable add-ons.

Speaker Management:

  • Identify, invite, and secure speaker participation.
  • Manage speaker objections and coordinate pre- and onsite schedules.

Marketing and Copywriting:

  • Write marketing and website copy to promote events.
  • Create sponsorship and delegate sales briefs with marketing teams.

Event Profitability:

  • Develop attractive conference programs with strategic pricing.
  • Collaborate to maximize revenue opportunities.

Time Management and Collaboration:

  • Prioritize tasks, automate where possible, and ensure milestone achievements.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and event teams for seamless execution.

Software Skills:

  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Aventri, WordPress, MapYourShow, etc.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in live content development and production.
