A leading law firm is seeking a Paralegal with insurance management experience to support a UK charity. Your role will involve managing claims, drafting guidance notes, and handling various insurance-related tasks. Offered on a rolling 12-month contract, this position allows for remote work across the UK, providing a competitive salary.
An opportunity for an experienced Paralegal to join a professional services firm on a rolling 12 month contract to advise a UK Charity and manage the insurance renewal process and respond to day-to-day insurance queries, contractual queries, and claims assistance.
The role will involve arranging, maintaining and managing the insurance protection for the organisation, managing and responding to internal and external insurance claims, and handling escalated insurance claims and disputed matters. You will also draft internal insurance guidance notes and learning materials to support the charity as well as supporting strategic projects that involve insurance risks that may require bespoke cover.
To be considered for the role, you must have a minimum of 2 years experience of insurance/claims management, ideally including litigation, high value matters and contract management experience. Experience of the charity or non-profit sector is beneficial. Although you will work as part of a team, this role requires candidates to be able to work autonomously.
On offer is a day rate equivalent to £40,000 (£153.85 + £18.57 holiday per day PAYE or £204.31 per day Umbrella). The contract is for 12 months with the possibility of extension, 40 hours a week. Although you can work on site at the Charities office in London, this role can be worked fully remote anywhere in the UK.
