Job summary

ICAEW in Milton Keynes is seeking a Senior Conduct Counsel to join the in-house legal team. The role involves advising on complaints and regulatory matters, prosecuting cases, and managing a varied caseload. You will contribute to high standards and timely outcomes within the Professional Standards Department.

Applicants should have 5+ years PQE with strong advocacy, case preparation experience, and robust legal analysis. Hybrid working and a focus on professional development are offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Advise Investigation Officers and Regulatory Case Managers on complaints and regulatory matters.
• Prepare, prosecute and present cases before ICAEW's Disciplinary and Regulatory Committees.
• Manage your own varied caseload from instruction through to conclusion.
• Provide clear, pragmatic legal advice across the Professional Standards Department.
• Ensure cases progress effectively and within required timescales.

The role

As Senior Conduct Counsel, you will:
