Job summary

Catapult is looking for a Senior Computer Vision & Tracking Engineer in London (hybrid) to drive perception and real-time tracking for our camera-based products, turning vision data into athlete performance insights.

You will work on edge AI inference, 3D tracking, and data science validation, collaborating with embedded platform and applications teams to ship robust perception systems in real-world environments.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficient in Python and C/C++ for full-stack development.
• Experience shipping production systems with end-to-end ownership.

Responsibilities

• Drive the CV and tracking domain pipeline from sensor readings through computer vision, motion recognition, and metric calculation.
• Train, optimize, and deploy neural networks for real-time segmentation and classification on embedded hardware.
• Extend the tracking and motion recognition pipeline to support new movements and analyses.
• Own the reliability of the domain by analyzing tracking accuracy and building quality metrics.
